Product Description

The Accuratus Propeller Type Water Current Meter is used for determining accurate velocities of flowing water in open channels, streams and Rivers. It has been manufactured to meet the requirements of I.S.3910. Measuring Velocity Range from 0.3 m/sec. to 1 m/sec.

The propeller consists of 4 Blades mounted on a Horizontal Shaft which held in yoke frame on two frictionless Pivot Points and perfectly balanced. Frictionless and balanced operation increases the sensitivity of the instrument. This yoke frame while holding the rotating Propeller, also protects Propeller from damage by the floating bodies in flowing water.

One signal is generated from each revolution of the Propeller by means of a Permanent Magnet inside the Magnetic Chamber. These signals can be recorded by the external Sensor.
